AEGAN TAMIL MOVIE REVIEW FIRST ON NET

Aegan is a remake of Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na. It is a useless movie for Ajith, after the class hit Billa.

The story : Siva (Ajith), a daredevil cop, on a mission as a student to save and protect Pooja(Piya) who is the daughter of Ramprasad (Devan) who turned as approver against Chinnappa (Suman ) and later lost the belief on Cops and escaped from them. Ram is hiding somewhere in Ooty where his daughter Piaa is studying in a co-ed college. Shiva’s new assignment is to go undercover as a student to the college to protect Priya and also a lead to her father’s whereabouts. Shiva joins the college where you have a funny principal (Jayaram) and a peon (Sathyan) and host of students including Priya’s lover Narain (Navdeep), who turns out to be our hero’s foster brother!

Ajith is not at all looking good, and he is back with his tummies again. Suman is irritating to the core. Jayaram as a funny principal, I didnt expect such a kind of very bad role for the good actor. In fact this movie is a 100% copy of Main Hoon Na, but there were some good performance from the characters like Zayed Khan, Susmitha, Amrita and Sunil, in the original. Aegen is a big let down here. On top of it, very bad direction, except some dance sequences, debundant director, Raju sundaram fails miserably. I think he can stop saying "Start .. Camera.. Action" for some time.

In fact, it's a melodramatic love story without a soul. The songs of AR Rahman are shot pathetically with some shoddy graphics like bombs, fish, butterflies, flying witches, birds (SFX team of Ocher Studios) inserted in all the songs! Even the much hyped Taxi Taxi.. song falls flat.

Synopsis: Sabha is a usual young guy with troubled memories of his family ,Meera meets Sabha from an accident which was unknowingly caused by her.Meera takes care of Sabha in the hospital.When he gets cure he immediately falls in love with Meera and so is Meera.Unexpected things happen for Sabha when he goes to Ooty for a football match.When he comes back he comes to know Meera is dead.But he never believes that she is dead.He carries her and runs from Cops and Meera’s family and lives in his own world with her.
