VILLU Story:

Dad Vijay is a loyal military officer and gets murdered by his co-officers (Prakash Raj and 2 other villains) as he could have exposed their traitor activities. A picture will be painted to show that Vijay’s father is a traitor so much so they strip his body off his ranks and the village people ban his final rites from taking place. Vijay’s (Ranjitha) mother also gets tattooed ‘ Traitor’s Wife’ in Tamil of course on her forehead.

The younger (Son) Vijay grows up and teams up with the commissioner who was a friend of his dad’s to annihilate all these villains. He acts like he loves Nayanthara to get access to Prakash Raj since he is her dad. Uses a similar tactic and acts like a son to another of the three villains. Take note it was never explained whether Vijay does love with useless Nayanthara or not. They totally forgot that part and Vadivelu also went missing after the first half of nothing but comedy. The suspense held for the audience is the question of why he is doing all these murders and bad things. And as mentioned, it is all for revenge. The climax fight was too draggy and started to get edgy on my seat. Overall, it’s a poor movie. Vijay's bad run continues....

Surprisingly there is no crappy punch dialogues like his earlier ones. No bullshit flying scenes like KURUVI. In the first half Vijay and vadivelu rocks. The Movie BGM is good, hats off to Devi sri prasad. Prabhu deva has done a neat job. For ajith its billa and for Vijay, its Villu. (But Villu is not that much stylish when compared to bill, still OK)

One of the best movie from vijay after gilli, we enjoyed the both-half of the movie & also songs are good but there is a a poor sentimental scene in the climax and father vijay is not upto the mark...and the music wise BGM is good it seems, Prakesh raj is like always ,, Good..

First half of the movies is for all, and the second half is only for Vijay fans. Actually, the movie is good and thanks to vadivel and his comedy,, Fights are good and better than pokkiri.

I dont have the words to describe the worst movie of the year beginning. On top of it Vijay as a milatary officer is a hi tech comedy. Vadivelu's comedy is a junk, it failed to bring any laughter. Nayanthara is......, better not to describe her and waste my space. It was a very draggy and boring show which attempted to thrill the audience and then but failed to keep the adrenaline pumping. You play any vijay movie from now on, and I would immediately tell you it is bad. Rating would be 2/5

Curious to watch the Movie, VILLU isnt it. Watch it in ur nearest theatres.
